I, being Scott, decided to post this picture because Jill LOVES it! Jill especially loves the beard and wanted me to keep it around for a while and if you cant pick up on my sarcasm, you might be a little slow. Anyways, Johnny and I and some other dudes went hunting for the ever elusive elk this past weekend. We both have wonderful wives to let us disappear for a while and do some man bonding. This picture was taken on day 4 of our trip, and as you all can see, we were looking really good. We are also very happy because the Broncos were on their way to being 5-0!!! Yes, even deep in the woods hunting elk there is time to stop and listen to the Broncos games. Enough of the hunting trip, cause nobody was able to get a shot at any elk. However, I did see the rear end of a giant Bull and chased him all the way down the mountain while he taunted me with his bugling just out of sight!! My legs are still tired, and I am even more scared of COUGARS now. I think I see one in the background of the picture!

Enough hunting stories for now. It is a sad time of year, as we have to get the boat winterized and shrink wrapped. The poor thing has to be put away for the next 6 months or so. Good times were had by all on the sweet ride this summer and many more are to come next year. BUT, for now it is bye bye boat! Here is one of its last pictures before it gets shrinked. Sad face! Brrr it looks cold, maybe we should move somewhere that we can boat all year! Any ideas anyone???? Jill and I were getting pretty good at wakeboarding toward the end of the season. Now we will forget how to do anything by next May. PS. I was getting better than Jill but dont tell her that.
The boys are getting big now, and even Hollis can wear his 2T Broncos Hillis jersey without it looking to big. They are getting crazier and crazier by the day and are learning more and more words all the time. I am at work so I cant post any new pictures of them, cause I dont have any! But, if Jill will ever blog on this thing, maybe she can put some updated pics of the boys on this thing.
That is about all I have for today, maybe I will get into blogging more often in the future, we shall see. For now, GO BRONCOS!!!! Beat the Bolts into the ground this Monday in San Diego!! I hate the chargers and their loser QB!!
See ya all soon!

The flock and the Hume Clan went to Gunnison last weekend to revisit the old stomping grounds of father duck. Luckily we are nice parents and we decided to bring the little devil ducklings back with us, but it was a close call. Nobody would take them. The boys were both in horrible moods the entire trip, and in spite of the constant whining, crying and fighting, we were able to have a great time and an enjoyable trip.
While in the comfortable town of Gunny we were able to enjoy some delicious food. We ate a nice greasy breakfast at the W Cafe....mmmmmmmmmmmm the biscuits and gravy are fantastic!(even with screaming babies diving in to your plate)
We were also able to make the gorgeous drive to CB and walk around the old town and eat at Donitas Cantina. Also very delicious even with crabby kiddos. Its the only restaurant we know of that brings your kids an actual sippy cup, very nice touch. And we can't not mention Marios, the best salad in the world maybe.....definitely, and the pizza is awesome!
The last night we were in Gunny a BEAR came and visited the cabin we stayed in and got in the dumpster right outside our window. Didn’t see the dude, but it was able to scatter trash everywhere, except the diapers, it didn't touch the poo pants and we can't blame the thing!!
We miss you Gunny!!! We will head back to the hills soon, hopefully before the snow comes. This weekend is the CSU/CU game at the Humes and we are ready for the Rocky Mountain Showdown! Go Rammies!

Just some photos of the boys from this summer to show how big they are getting. More photos to come we are sure.

The boys love to drive the boat...........and to shake the beer salt!

Yes, sad but true. The harley has been reduced to a climbing wall for the boys.

Hollis, the proud climber.

Camping by Jefferson Lake.
Look at this stick...and the war paint from the fire pit on my face.

Brooks wants that stick.

Well, one of us FINALLY got a job, and even though it is temporary, it is better than sitting on a butt!!! I will let you all guess which one of us is finally working.......hint....its the male half of "us." Thank the Lord! Now we dont have to move in to Scott's hunting tent.
Brooks and Hollis are now a year and a half old and were about to make Scott run away if he didnt find a job pretty soon. They are getting big and running around and talking and driving us crazy, in a good way of course. Anyone want to take them for a day or three?
Well this is our first post on our bloggy blog so we are gonna keep it short until we get the hang of it.

We'll see ya'll when we see ya! Increase the peace!
